Summer 2017, I was fortunate enough to be Stance’s Creative Department Intern for twelve weeks. Stance is a creative and worldwide sock company based in San Clemente, CA. They base their brand values off human originality and entrepreneurship. Stance has something for all genders and styles, and has recently become the official sock of the NBA, and MLB just to start. Working with such a creative and fast paced company, I learned a lot about the real world creative process and the importance of being organized and having fun.

( Out to print as of 8/14, and out for mail later this Fall, temporary computer mockups are used above )
Personal hand drawn icons are featured throughout the magalog, as well as collaborations with brands such as Disney, Star Wars, NFL, and MLB.
This is the Fall 2017 Magalog ( Mail+Catalog) that is set to be shipped to 150,000 homes nationwide this Fall. This magalog design was created and executed by Patrick Choichino, Travis Nagel, and (me) Reo Nathan, all under Scott Richard’s art and creative direction. Other contributors consist of Stance's Ecomm team and many others in Stance’s creative department. This magalog has a wide and diverse target audience, but keeps a steady theme of “What Inspires You?”. Consistent call-outs to Stance’s Punks & Poets, along with other subtle hints at to the company’s inspirations for each category can be found.
Production work consisted of a pagination creation, many versions of layout flow and marketing concepts, photography of sock lay downs, creation of icons and copy, and final executions on executions on executions of overall design.
This project took over 10 weeks to finally send off to print, just in time for the Fall season.
